I recently had the pleasure of going on a one-day excursion to the ancient sites of Jerash, Ajloun, and Pella, and I can't stop raving about the experience! Organizing the trip through Map Tours was an excellent decision that truly elevated my day. From the moment I was picked up at my hotel, the attention to detail was apparent. Our guide was a knowledgeable and passionate local who brilliantly navigated our small group through the rich history of each site. Jerash, known for its remarkable Roman ruins, left me in awe. Walking through the colonnaded streets and standing beneath the grandeur of Hadrian's Arch felt like stepping back in time. The Amphitheater echoed with history, and I found myself imagining what it must have been like in its glory days. After soaking in Jerash, we ventured to Ajloun Castle. The drive through the lush, rolling hills was stunning and just added to the day's beauty. The castle itself is an impressive piece of architecture, and exploring its ancient walls while listening to tales of the legendary Islamic general Salah ad-Din was captivating. The panoramic views from the castle were breathtaking; I found it impossible not to snap a dozen pictures! Pella was our final stop, and it was like uncovering a hidden gem. Fewer tourists meant we could wander freely among the ruins, and our guide expertly pointed out the fascinating layers of history that have shaped this incredible site. Each artifact and structure had a story to tell, and it was amazing to see sites dating back to biblical times. Throughout the day, I never felt rushed. Map Tours did a fantastic job pacing the schedule, allowing ample time to explore, take pictures, and ask questions. Lunch was a delightful surprise, too; we enjoyed authentic local cuisine that was both delicious and satisfying. By the end of the day, I felt enriched not just by the history but by the warm hospitality of Jordanian culture. I wholeheartedly recommend Map Tours for anyone wanting to explore Jerash, Ajloun, and Pella in a single day. It’s a perfect blend of captivating history, stunning scenery, and genuine cultural experiences, making for a wholly memorable adventure!

it was an awesome experience! First up was Jerash, where we explored the stunning Roman ruins. The well-preserved temples, theaters, and colonnaded streets made me feel like I had traveled back in time. Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the history of the site. Next, we headed to Ajloun, which is known for its impressive castle perched on a hill. The views from the top were breathtaking! It’s a great spot for some photos, and we even had a chance to learn about the local history and the role the castle played in defending against the Crusaders. Finally, we visited Pella, which was a bit quieter but equally captivating. Walking through the ancient ruins, I appreciated the serene atmosphere and the chance to see remnants of various civilizations that once thrived there. Map Tours did a fantastic job organizing everything. The transportation was comfortable, and the timing felt just right—enough time to explore without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a day trip filled with history, stunning sights, and a relaxed vibe, I highly recommend this tour!

I honestly say this was the best trip I've ever been on. The people I met were amazing, the sites visited were breathtaking in their own ways, and the tour guide was so accommodating and reliable. I may have been super lucky, but each person on my tour contributed to a positive experience. So many inspiring, smart, friendly, and fun-loving people. I enjoyed the diversity of interests, but a unification when we gathered in group activities to talk about our daily adventures. I wish we could have stayed in each site for a week. There was too much to see and absorb, and there just wasn't enough time. I will definitely have to come back to revisit sites for extended times or explore the recommended areas I couldn't hit. Lastly, our guide was a legend, Very knowledgeable in his way around the spots to hit and a great guy. I am hesitant on doing another tour with a random guide since it will now be compared to what an amazing job Essam did. thanks to Map Tours.
